What is the difference between avalove and THE STORE by avalove?

avalove is designed by ava and hand printed or hand dyed by myself or someone to helps me.  this is a very small one person business with help during busier times of the year.  every item you purchase from avalove is special and limited edition.

The Store also allows me to have many of my designs available 2/4/7 that I have made over the past 20 years.  I will slowly keep adding new designs to this section to complete our avalove print library so all of my prints are available all the time, all season.

This also gives me the opportunity to experiment with new designs and have much more available than I can in person.

*Please note: these items are custom made for you as you order, shipping time will be will take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Please leave time for the item to be made for you as it could take a few weeks to produce and ship, but know this item is being custom made just for you!

This line is a different line from avalove which I design and is made by myself with my avalove team. avalove is sold online and in person.

Please note: The fabric and cuts will be different from avalove original, also the design process is different, these are not silkscreened items, these are direct to garment, meaning my design is actually printed into the fabric and it's a different process.  This is why the fabric content is different, so this process can take place.  The actual manufacturing, production and shipping of these items are made by a third party and created as you order piece by piece and shipped directly to you by them when it's complete.

The Store by avalove is only available online.  You may only exchange items if it's from THE STORE ONLY. avalove original items will not be available for credit, but you can shop freely with your credit at THE STORE, please see our FAQ.

avalove original is the rest of the website and is all original silkscreen designs made by me and a small team of amazing folks who support me to help me get get avalove to you! I ship these directly from my studio.

 

 

Shipping

While we insure all of our packages and work hard to ensure they arrive quickly, avalove shop cannot be held responsible for delays or issues with delivery once your package is in the possession of the USPS, Fed-Ex, or UPS.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping will take two days to ship via Fed-Ex once the order has been processed! We process orders as soon as possible once we receive your order, however there may be times where there are delays due to traveling show schedule.  We will let you know if your item will be delayed longer than times discussed here.  

*We ship 1x a week, depending on our show schedule.  We try to ship as soon as possible!

How long does shipping take for THE STORE by avalove pieces?

avalove constellation items are all made to order items.  please leave time for shipping and production of your item which could take up to two weeks.  the good news is this item is custom made just for you!

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is currently Fed-Ex two day unless otherwise specified. Our shipping may be high, but due to experience, Fed-Ex delivers on time and quickly and for our two day rate it's fabulous. We would prefer to make sure you get your package on time, rather than risk it with other services.

Do you ship internationally?

We can ship anywhere in the world, and not all countries are listed-! Email hello@avaloveshop.com to find out if we can ship to you and costs.

Please note: import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. 

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to your purchase. 

Please email hello@avaloveshop.com for better shipping prices for international orders if there are.  We have a set price, but prices could be cheaper and we are happy to offer the cheaper rate if you email your shipping address and we can check how much it will be and adjust pricing.

Do you provide tracking numbers?
Yes. All of our packages come with tracking numbers. You will receive a notification with a tracking number once your order has shipped.

What courier do you use?

Fed- Ex is our chosen  carrier at the moment, however, if out at a show out of town, and it's faster to ship another carrier we will ship this way and if shipping is less you will be refunded the difference.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards online as well as Paypal.

Why is shipping not free or lower?

As a very small artist run business, we just can't compete with Amazon Prime or other big companies.  They get great deals because of the high volume of orders. 
Often, if you're getting free shipping or discounted it's because your actual item is marked up to absorb shipping costs. 
The reason we ship Fed-Ex as our carrier of choice is because other cheaper carriers have lost items and are not responsible for locating items and not easy to deal with.  Fed-Ex has been far superior with their service.
During the pandemic, Fed-Ex is contactless which is much safer for us.
avalove is very limited edition, artist made, unique items that we hope you will understand the value, time, effort, and love that has gone into making these items - and hope you can understand why we don't want these items lost in the mail, and why we opt to go with Fed-Ex.  
We ship one-rate Fed-Ex which is two day, and less expensive than ground.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns; We are happy to exchange any item that has not been washed, worn or damaged.

Due to the limited-edition nature of our line, items must be exchanged within 7 business days with your receipt of purchase/or date the item was received.  If it is not returned within this time frame you will not be eligible for exchange.

*Because our sales are so amazing and discounted, we can't offer any refunds or exchange on these items! All SALE ITEMS are final sale.

If you would like to exchange items, buyer must pay for shipping back and forth.  To make sure an item is right for you to avoid extra shipping costs, please write hello@avaloveshop.com and we will be very happy to help you find the right fit! We do have all sizes for all types!

To exchange: 

Securely package the return merchandise and a copy of the invoice, as well as a short explanation with your name, email address, order number, shipping address and phone number. 

Please email hello@avaloveshop.com for the appropriate shipping address to send the exchange.

*If you choose not to include tracking with your exchange, avalove shop is not responsible for tracking or errors in delivery and not responsible for any mistakes made by third party shippers, though we will try our best to rectify.

*We do not accept any items that have been washed, damaged, or worn as we are not responsible for how you care for your item.

This will avoid sizing issues you might have ahead of your order! So happy to help, don't be shy to ask!

CURRENT SHIPPING DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

We are shipping as fast as possible during the pandemic.  Please expect there will be small delays in your order due to our delays with our shipping carriers! Know that we are working as fast as possible to get your order out right away! We want you to have your avalove asap so you can be cozy, and beautiful on the inside and out!!!

If I receive my package and it is damaged, what should I do? 

If you notice that any merchandise is damaged when you receive it, please e-mail us. We will get back to you as soon as possible.   

Help, my tracking number says my order is delivered, but it hasn't arrived!

We find that often the package has been delivered, almost 100% of the time. Often the carrier has dropped it with a neighbor, put it in a different area than usual, or hasn't quite delivered yet! Please ask your household if they picked up the package, or neighbors if the package was dropped with them, or check other entrances to your house, often, the package is there.

If you still don't find your package, the carrier recommends you call them directly with your tracking number to find out what happened to the package. Once it has left us, they tell us, the customer should call with tracking instead of us!  Do alert us at hello@avaloveshop.com so we can be aware of the situation and help!

How are the clothes made?
Everything is designed by Ava.  Flower dyes are all done in house with a special flower dye technique, all one of a kind pieces.

E-mail us for wholesale inquiries. Please send details about your store such as address and photos of your physical store (if you have one), links to your website, and social media sites.  

Care

Most items are wash in cold water, tumble dry low.  Please keep in mind, the nicer you are to the item, the happier it will be, and the longevity and fabric condition is up to you in terms of how you care for it. 

All botanics- flower dye items- should be hand wash, hang to dry in a shaded area- to preserve the natural dye pigments.  These items are so special because they are dyed with flower petals, and must be treated with special care because of this.  This is a very rare, unique form of printing fabric. Take special special care of these items. Each piece is one of a kind.
